Gary Lamson, Vinfen’s CEO since 1998, is responsible for the initiation development and management of a comprehensive mental health, mental retardation and addiction service delivery system that benefits more than 7,000 consumers in eastern Massachusetts and northern Connecticut.
He oversees the service delivery sites, including day and residential programs, and a 72-bed nursing home (the Hancock Center). These services currently operate at a budget of approximately $100 million. |

From 1971-98, he served as Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Behavioral HealthCare at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Under his leadership, a behavioral health provider network of outpatient and day treatment programs throughout the State of New Jersey was formed.
