Behavioral Health
Vinfen’s Behavioral Health Division provides prevention, intervention, and treatment services in the areas of mental health and substance abuse for adults, families and children.
Treatment is individualized culturally sensitive, and may include ongoing clinical care and support in both traditional and nontraditional settings.
A full range of outpatient services is provided at our licensed mental health clinic in Roxbury, Mass., including individual, group, and family counseling; case consultation; psychiatric assessments; and medication evaluation.
Our clinicians work closely with public and private hospitals, community mental health centers, and public schools.

Positive School Climate Initiative
SCCAT provides violence prevention and leadership development training to children in the Boston public school system. By using Committee for Children’s award winning Second Step Violence Prevention Curriculum, SCCAT, in partnership with classroom teachers, helps children learn to make positive and effective choices, resolve disputes, and collaborate with each other. These social and emotional skills are fundamental building blocks that lead to a child’s academic success because they facilitate a positive and safe school climate.
