Taste of Gateway

May 22nd, 2012

Over $60,000 was raised at Gateway for the Arts Annual “A Taste of Gateway” event on Saturday May 19, 2012.

Now in it’s 11th year, Gateway for the Arts celebrated with an evening of art, food, spirits, music, and the popular silent and live auctions.  This years’s auctioneer was Colleene Fesco, an appraiser from PBS’s Antique Roadshow.  Live auction items included paintings, a sports package, and a dinner party for 10.  Silent auction items included sports tickets, vacation retreats, collectibles, gourmet and restaurant packages, gift certificates, a private museum tour and much more!  All items were donated by Gateway supporters.

Over 200 people attended the event and raised more than $60,000 for the Gateway for the Arts program.

Gateway Arts, a service of Vinfen, is filled with colorful crafts, contemplative and whimsical paintings and over 95 talented artists with disabilities learning a vocation while realizing their dreams. This unique, non-profit service includes the Studio Program, The Gateway Crafts Store, and The Gateway Gallery.
