VINFEN ANNOUNCES CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER APPOINTMENT
(Cambridge, MA) – Vinfen Corporation, a leading non-profit human services organization, today announced that Elizabeth Glaser will join the organization as Chief Operating Officer. Glaser, an accomplished senior executive with a successful track record, will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the company.
“We are delighted to welcome someone of Elizabeth’s caliber and values to Vinfen”, said Chief Executive Officer Dr. Bruce L. Bird. “Elizabeth’s unique set of skills in operations, strategy and finance will prove invaluable as we move forward.
Glaser is a well respected senior executive who has held a number of positions at some of the most prestigious medical establishments in the Boston area including Partners Healthcare System, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Faulkner Hospital, North Shore Medical Center and the Deaconess Hospital. She has also served as a consultant for McKinsey and Company in Chicago.
Glaser graduated cum laude from Bowdoin College and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. She was selected by the Kennedy School at Harvard University to receive the Harman fellow in 1988. Glaser currently serves as chairperson of the finance committee and is a board member of the Hazelden Foundation.
