Vinfen Participates in Walk in Our Shoes Rally

About 100 people, including Vinfen staff and individuals served, paid a visit to the Statehouse on Thursday, February 26, to invite members of the Legislature to “Walk in Our Shoes”.
Participants offered their shoes to lawmakers in an effort to call attention to the seriousness of the cuts in the proposed budget.
“We want to increase the awareness of how serious these proposed cuts are,” said Arc Executive Director Leo Sarkissian.
The proposed budget includes cuts to programs that serve individuals with developmental disabilities.
