Vinfen’s 4th Annual Northeast Area Recovery Celebration was held on May 16 at the Andover Country Club in Andover, MA. Over 400 people we serve, friends, family members, and staff from our Community-Based Flexible Supports (CBFS) and Clubhouse programs came together for a luncheon and opportunity to recognize those who have achieved recovery and supported others in the recovery process.
CBFS Recovery Coordinator Jodi Johnson welcomed guests to the event and was followed by Vinfen President and CEO Bruce Bird. Those in attendance then had the opportunity to hear Melinda Goodrich share her recovery story. Eight people were recognized for their achievements in recovery. Jon DaSilva of CVS Health and Heather Mantell of the Greater Merrimack Valley Employment Collaborative were both honored with Employer Recognition Awards for their commitment to supporting the employment and recovery of the people we serve. Sherri Bolognese of Pentucket Medical Associates and Andrew Stephens of Bridgewell Counseling Services then received Community Provider Appreciation Awards for their dedication to supporting the health and happiness of people served by Vinfen. Finally, in honor of their continued commitment to providing affordable, quality housing to those who need it, Haverhill Housing Authority was awarded the Affordable Housing Partner Appreciation Award.
Guests were also treated to door prizes and entertainment by the band Organized Chaos.
