Vinfen’s Gateway Arts held the opening reception for their exhibit, Linear Time, on Friday, February 9 at the Gateway Arts Gallery in Brookline Village, MA. More than 120 artists, family members, staff, supporters, and art-lovers made their way to the gallery for the exhibit, which was curated by Gateway Arts Weaving Studio Supervisor Leah Medin and former Fabric Studio Supervisor Mina Ha.
This was Gateway Arts’ second exhibition featuring fiber art exclusively.
“The intricate and labor-intensive nature of the work made for an exciting show with a great turnout,” said Gateway Arts Development Specialist Christine Nolan. It also made history as one of Gateway’s highest-selling exhibitions to date, thanks in large part to the neighbors and dedicated friends of Gateway who continue to support the studio’s work.
The beautiful work featured in the Linear Time exhibit can still be perused and purchased on the Gateway Arts website. Gateway’s next event, A Taste of Gateway 2018, will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at their studio. Guests will enjoy an art swap, live and silent auctions, live music, delectable food, and beer and wine. Tickets can be purchased on the Gateway Arts website.
