Moving Images 2019 Schedule of Events

Vinfen will hold our 12th Annual Moving Images Film Festival on Saturday, March 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School.

9:00 a.m. Registration

9:30 a.m. Opening Remarks

9:45 a.m. Film: Fighter

10:00 a.m. Film: Off the Rails

11:30 a.m. Panel Discussion featuring Special Guest Michael Stuart Garfinkle, PhD, from Off the Rails, Lauren N. Sneider, MS, Program Manager of the Boston Medical Center Criminal Justice Diversion Programs, and Lieutenant Frederick J. Cabral of the Cambridge Police Department’s Family & Social Justice Section.  The discussion will be moderated by Vinfen Director Integrated Care and Innovation Elizabeth Cella, MS, LRC, CRC, CPRP.

12:50 p.m. Film: Asperger’s Are Us

2:15 p.m. Panel Discussion featuring Stars of the Film Asperger’s Are Us Adjunct Professor at Bunker Hill Community College Noah Britton, Ethan N. Finlan, Jack Hanke, and New Michael Ingemi. The discussion will be moderated by Vinfen Director of Service Development Kathleen A. Catano, MS.

3:45 p.m. Film: Beyond Silence

4:15 p.m. Panel Discussion featuring stars CEO of Notehouse Lauren A. Burke, JD; Founder of Go Fetch Wellness Jeff Fink; and Certified Peer Support Specialist at SC Share Lloyd J. Hale II, and special guest Juliana H. Chen, MD, Executive Producer of Looking for Luke and Child Psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The discussion will be moderated by Vinfen Director of Recovery Services Adam Whitney, LSW, CPRP, CPS.
